We are WILDNESS

WILDNESS was founded in 2023 in Puerto Natales, Patagonia, Chile. As a family-owned organization, its mission is to use content creation as a tool for positive change in adventure travel.

It was created by Timothy Dhalleine and Lisette Nuñez, a couple passionate about adventures in the wild who have been contributing to making Torres del Paine national park a world renowned destination for the past 10 years.

While founding WILDNESS, Timothy and Lisette wanted to tell stories showcasing emotions in nature and the power of change of adventure, a word that has defined their own lives. WILDNESS also aims to bring together travelers with a common passion : photography.

Timothy is an award-winning photographer with over a decade of experience photographing Patagonia’s wilderness.

Content with an impact

Through his work, he explores the place of humans in their only home : nature. Timothy has spent years capturing the wonders of Torres del Paine, where he has shot hundreds of sunrises and wildlife encounters in off-the-beaten-path spots. His work has been featured in international media outlets, including Guardian, La Nación and LATAM Airlines.

Timothy is also a filmmaker, and some of his short films got selections and awards in some of the most renowned adventure film festivals, including the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, ATTA’s Adventure in Motion and the SHEFFIELD adventure film festival.

Timothy and Lisette share a common passion for quality service, with years of experience in ecotourism in Patagonia. Lisette is a customer service expert and has worked in well-known hotels of Torres del Paine, where she has left traces thanks to her positive energy and attention to detail. WILDNESS is the representation of that dedication to changing peoples’ lives through transformational experiences in nature.

Beyond content creation and photography expeditions in Patagonia, WILDNESS directly supports conservation in the area. 1% of the company’s proceeds go to the Torres del Paine Legacy Fund, an nonprofit initiative that leads projects of wildlife conservation and trail restoration in the region.

Through WILDNESS, Timothy and Lisette aim to build a legacy while connecting people emotionally with nature, which they believe is the best school. A concept they share on a daily basis with their adventurous daughter and WILDNESS little representative, Naiomi.
